The Project: A strategic master planning response to a live regeneration brief at Oxford Brookes University. This scheme evolves the Letchworth Garden City legacy into a new development with connections to the main city.
The Strategy: Developed through direct consultation with Hertfordshire Council through Oxford Brookes University, the LG1 Masterplan bridges the gap between keeping the garden city natures and urban density requirements . The design prioritises viability, social infrastructure, and sustainability.
Key Skills Developed:
• Collaboration: Navigating complex design challenges within a team environment to deliver an individual masterplan from a group one.
• Live Brief Response: Translating real-world constraints and Hertfordshire Council requirements into spatial strategies that can be transferred from real world professional examples
